Individuals An individual walker/runner is a lone champion. He or she is a free spirit determined to grasp solo victory. Their eye is on the prize and raising pledges for kids is their ultimate victory. An individual’s pledge goal is $100. For information on how to register click here. Teams Team Participants are a group of individuals who want to run under a unique team name. Teams raise pledges and have a passion for going the extra mile to walk or run and get the fundraising job done! The team pledge goal is $1,000. Centipedes The team of all teams. A centipede is a group of 8 or more participants who stay connected throughout the entire race with material such as rope, bungee cords, etc. The centipede is the ultimate team experience. “No one left behind!” is the motto, as every member of the centipede must finish together. The centipede team pledge goal is $1,000. What can pledges do? • $100 buys school supplies and clothing. • $500 helps a youth join a sports team or purchase a musical instrument. • $1,000 helps furnish an apartment for a teenager transitioning from foster care to adult independence. These are just a few examples of ways your fundraising efforts can impact youth and families. |
