Thank you, Central Coast Community, for Making Miracles Happen!
It was another miraculous year for Miracle Miles for Kids—a day of astonishing feats for the Family Care Network and the children and families we serve! At this year’s event, over 1,800 race participants and over 200 volunteers lent their time and energy on race day! Combined, the number of community members who joined the agency on race day met the agency’s goal of attracting over 2,000 people to the event! This means that at the event, there was a community member present to represent every foster and high-needs child, youth or family served by the Family Care Network last year—what a sight to see!
All of those involved in this event demonstrated our community’s remarkable commitment and concern for foster and high-needs children and families. We are tremendously thankful to all of you who participated, volunteered, donated, sponsored, earned pledges or simply encouraged us in our efforts—this event would not be successful year after year without your much appreciated and needed support. Please know that your efforts have greatly enhanced the wellbeing of foster and high-needs children and families living in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.
