Raising pledges is not required to participate but strongly encouraged as it is pledge money that makes a significant difference in the lives of foster and special needs children and families served by FCNI. Whether you are participating as an individual, with a team or as a centipede, we encourage you to raise pledges. Even those who choose not to participate in the event are welcome to raise pledges. All of the money raised for Miracles Miles for Kids goes directly to children and families, and come from people like you who encourage your family, friends and community members to monetarily support your participation in this special event!

  • Most Money Raised by an Individual
  • Most Money Raised by a Team/Centipede

So how do you start?
  • Get pledges! Start by asking family members, co-workers, your boss, neighbors, etc. to support your participation in Miracle Miles, a benefit for foster and high needs children and families.
  • Let your supporters know they can make a pledge in your name online or simply give you their donation.
  • Email those wishing to sponsor you a link to the Miracle Miles for Kids website for online pledging that is S.A.F.E (Secure, Accurate, Fast & Efficient).
  • If you would rather collect your pledges in person, simply click here for a printable version of the Pledge Form.
  • Carefully record your supporters’ names and information on the Pledge Form and collect their pledges. Checks should be made payable to “The Family Care Network”. Please write “Pledge for participant’s name” in the memo section.
  • Bring your Pledge Form and pledges to the Family Care Network headquarters at 3765 S. Higuera, San Luis Obispo prior to May 7th or bring them with you on race day.
