Miracle Miles for Kids would not be possible without the help of a substantial team of volunteers. From making sure participants get a parking space to serving lunch, volunteers are vital to the success of this very special event.

If you are unable to run/walk in the event but would like to support foster and high-needs children and families in your community, there are many event volunteering opportunities at Miracle Miles for Kids. Volunteer tasks include, but are not limited to:
  • Distributing event posters to businesses
  • Promoting the event at the Family Care Network’s booth at Farmers Market in San Luis Obispo
  • Stuffing event goody bags
  • Manning the water station on event day
  • Cheering runners as they cross the finish line
  • Running the timing software
  • Serving lunch
  • Setting up the stage
  • Decorating the post-race celebration area
  • Cleaning up after the event
